Successful field test for all the gear.
Literal busloads of people. So very cold. So very pretty. Jen somehow managed to buy a pair of boots.
So it took us a while to get there and back, but it was definitely worth it. We like us some alpine lakes. Switchbacks - not so much.
The trail is rated "moderate". It was no joke at the time. Nice views but we could do without the assholes with bluetooth speakers
We took a Sunday morning stroll from the waterfall down to the river. And back again.
We strolled through the gardens and I got a few nice shots - including a local coney.
In to Reno, then a drive to Lake Tahoe. This was alot of fun. We liked us some après. I liked the cold.
We had fun exploring San Jose and San Francisco over the weekend. Jen finally got to the Winchester House - so weird.
